Founder/CEO   

Jami Hamel DeLaCerda, M.S. SpEd, is the Founder and CEO of Fresno’s Diamond Learning Center.  Her work experience in Special Education began over 30 years ago and continues every day in her professional as well as her personal life.  Jami brought her visionary dream of L.I.F.E., Learning is for Everyone, to reality, when she developed the Diamond Learning Center, where students achieve their own successes, no matter their abilities or disabilities. Jami is an Adjunct Professor at California State University Fresno. 

She is the proud  mom of three boys, Isaiah and twins, Samuel and Elijah, whom she affectionately calls her “Three Kings”.  Elijah, who has Down syndrome, provides inspiration for her every moment of every day.  Jami continues to write an education  design and create curriculum for Elijah's education. Elijah attends Hallmark Charter School partnered with home instruction. Creating  and Advocating for Elijah's educational and community inclusion is both gratifying and empowering.  2016 Jami founded ISE Publishing Company, & the Reading for L.I.F.E. Series. ISE – Including Someone Everyday.

In 2012, Jami Hamel De La Cerda was presented with the "Founder's Award" by the Down Syndrome Association of Central California (DSACC). Since its inception in 1999 this is only the third time in the history of the organization that this award has been given.
